About the 12th General Assembly

The General Assembly is the Maldivian Red Crescent’s supreme decision-making authority and it has the right to steer all activities of the Maldivian Red Crescent. In accordance to MRC Statutes Clause 7 - The General Assembly of Maldivian Red Crescent must be held before the end of April every other year.

The 12th General Assembly of Maldivian Red Crescent will take place from 28th - 29th April 2023.

Governing Board Elections - During the Assembly, elections will take place for the following Governing Board Seats

Second Vice President (Female Candidate Only)
Treasurer
Governing Board Member - South (Female Candidate Only)
Governing Board Member - Inclusivity (Seat allocated for inclusion of marginzalied and miniority groups within the community including persons with disabilities, migrants and others as specified in the MRC Rules & Procedure.
