Fuvahmulah City Unit

Since its revival in 2023, the Fuvahmulah Unit has expanded access to MRC’s programmes and services in the city. By enhancing local capacities and fostering volunteer engagement, the Unit empowers the community to be better prepared, supported, and resilient.

The Unit has launched services in emergency response, First Aid capacity building and services, and ecosystem restoration initiatives through community tree planting efforts. The Unit aims to actively engage youth in initiatives that foster solidarity and resilience, while laying the groundwork for broader disaster risk reduction and community engagement.
