Male' City Unit

Established in 2010, the Malé City Unit is the first and longest-serving Unit of the Maldivian Red Crescent. Serving the Greater Malé Region - the nation’s most populous area and hub for economic and essential services, the Unit has been at the frontline of emergency response and rapid humanitarian action within the city.

Recognized as a reliable partner by City level stakeholders, schools, and community organizations, it has built a trusted presence by delivering community-based programmes in First Aid, health, and wellbeing, while ensuring that our services adapt to meet the evolving needs of communities during emergencies and other humanitarian challenges.
