Morocco Earthquake Relief Fund

Maldivian Red Crescent has opened opportunity to donate funds for the Emergency Appeal launched by the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) for CHF 100 million to support the response efforts to a deadly 6.8 magnitude earthquake in Morocco which occurred on 8th September 2023.

The Moroccan Red Crescent has immediately mobilized to support communities affected.Read more on the IFRC Emergency Appeal through the link here.

This appeal will be targeted towards delivery of humanitarian assistance such as health, clean water, sanitation and hygiene, shelter, relief items and basic needs (food, household essentials), livelihoods, protection, and community engagement to affected areas and individuals in Morocco.

The Maldivian Red Crescent is opening the opportunity to donate funds towards the Emergency Appeal of IFRC and donations will be collected for 07 days from 14th September 2023 till 21st September 2023.
